The funeral arrangements for the late Apostle Kwadwo Safo Kantanka have been thrown into uncertainty after an Accra High Court restrained former Dome-Kwabenya MP Sarah Adwoa Safo from proceeding with the burial plans. Lawyer for the Mission, Nana Kofi Safo Kantanka, said the order temporarily prevents Adwoa Safo from organising the funeral until the court gives further consideration to the matter. The legal action comes amid a deepening family dispute over who has the authority to manage the funeral arrangements and oversee the fulfilment of Apostle Kwadwo Safo’s final wishes. Before the court order, Adwoa Safo had insisted that the funeral would proceed as planned. The latest court directive means the planned funeral activities cannot proceed until the expiration of the injunction period or further directions from the court.
