I have also long questioned the misnomer “Town” as a descriptor for Greenwich and have even written about it in this publication. What I most appreciate in this LTE is the identification of the management of the town as lacking morality. Here Mr. Hall hits the nail on the head as after 100 years of constant Republican rule, the moral imperative to care for our neediest citizens is throttled to 1% in our half a billion plus dollar budget! Last year they donated 185 pairs to local children.
