(WCAX) - Police are investigating a break-in at Cherry Street Playcare in St Johnsbury. According to St. Johnsbury police, daycare staff arrived early Wednesday morning to find a broken lock and a missing laptop. The staff reported that food meant for young children was also taken. Police found the laptop with a person experiencing homelessness next to the welcome center in St. Johnsbury and returned it to the daycare. Police have not released any other details about possible charges or additional suspects.
