This four-track EP which was initially available via digital platforms, presented the trio’s current incarnation with new drummer John Hoffman, who joined the band last February. A Handful of Nuggs featured a new Primus original “The Ol’ Grizz,” along with a studio cover of Dio’s “Holy Diver” featuring lead vocals from Puddle Pity Party, a live take on The Brown Album‘s “Duchess (And The Proverbial Mind Spread)” and 2025’s 7” single “Little Lord Fentanyl” with guest vocals from Maynard James Keenan. Primus has now shared a video of “The Ol’ Grizz,” directed by Cage Claypool, son of the band’s frontman. The animated interpretation of the tune comes just ahead of the group’s European tour, with the upcoming dates listed below the video.
