Over the weekend, Michael Brown was arrested for allegedly abducting a 15-month-old boy from his parents’ wedding in Houston. According to Gilliland, several relatives looked after the 15-month-old boy while his parents celebrated during the wedding. Homicide detectives later launched an investigation to determine the potential locations of both the suspect and the couple’s son. When Brooks refused to comply, Thomas allegedly threatened to remove the other children in Brooks’s care, per the sheriff’s office. Thomas was charged with four counts of attempted kidnapping, unarmed burglary, two counts of criminal action, trespassing, and misuse of 911.
