Daniel Adongo’s former teammate, D’Qwell Jackson, described the deported Kenyan as a “hard worker” who did not play with his career during his time with the Indianapolis Colts. Jackson revealed he was surprised when he got to know that the ICE had deported Adongo to Kenya. Adongo was a rugby player who later became the first Kenyan to play in the NFL after the Indianapolis Colts signed him in 2013. Though Jackson revealed he couldn’t tell what led to Adongo’s issues, he said he has witnessed former players experiencing issues after leaving the league. “For someone to have it all and then it goes sideways, it raises my suspicions that there are some mental issues that could be possibly going on.
