All Nippon Airways (ANA) has increased its current order with Embraer to include eight additional E190-E2 aircraft in support of domestic flights in Japan.
“This additional E190-E2 order accelerates our efforts to build a sustainable regional aviation network in Japan,” Koji Shibata, President and CEO of ANA Holdings, said.
Both parties have agreed for IBEX Airlines to use Embraer E190-E2 aircraft as the operational fleet for this agreement.
If approved by the relevant authorities, IBEX Airlines will also outsource its maintenance operations to ANA.
“This system is viewed as a vital means to balance supply and demand in response to the evolving aviation needs to maintain the domestic aviation network,” ANA said.
