Rita Ashley Foley, 41, of Douglas, has been in jail for the last three weeks after deputies found suspected methamphetamine on her person during a July 8, 2026, traffic stop. An incident report from the sheriff’s office states that an officer stopped Foley because of faulty taillights. The report says that Foley was acting nervous while she was talking with officers. A female officer searched Foley and found multiple baggies containing suspected methamphetamine in the front of her pants. Foley was arrested and charged with possession of methamphetamine.
