Border officials at a southern Alberta crossing seized a large amount of suspected drugs from a truck arriving from the U.S. earlier this month.
The Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) says officers at the Coutts border crossing made the discovery after inspecting a commercial truck that had travelled from California on July 2.
During a search they found around 300 kilograms of suspected methampthetamine and 80 kilograms of suspected cocaine.
The suspected drugs were hidden inside 12 moving boxes, a smaller box, and a duffle bag.
The seized drugs were also handed over to the Mounties.
