(IN BRIEF) Palm Group and Voith are jointly converting the PM 7 paper machine at Palm’s King’s Lynn mill in the United Kingdom to produce corrugated base paper made from recycled fibre. The project responds to the structural decline in demand for newsprint and shifts the machine toward packaging-related production, specifically corrugated medium base paper. Following the conversion, PM 7 will be used to manufacture corrugated medium base paper made from recycled paper.
