Antwerp Petrochemical Project Reaches Milestone as INEOS Receives Final Cracker Modules

Construction at the Antwerp site has now reached peak levels, with around 2,500 workers from approximately 80 contractors on site.
(PRESS RELEASE) LONDON, 29-Jul-2026 — /EuropaWire/ — INEOS has received the first of the final two major modules required to complete its Project ONE ethane cracker in Antwerp.
The first of the final two modules has now reached Antwerp, while the second and final module is expected to arrive in the coming days.
John McNally, CEO of INEOS Project ONE, said the company is extremely relieved that the final two modules have arrived safely in Antwerp.
With civil engineering work completed and the final modules being installed, the focus has shifted to mechanical, electrical and instrumentation activities.
