The Panthers brought high-intensity and a few fireworks to their first day of padded practice at the Atrium Health Training Facility with the first fight camp. Second-year tight end Mitchell Evans was carted off the field after rolling his ankle during 11-on-11 drills. Head coach Dave Canales noted the training staff is optimistic it is not serious. In Flowery Branch, Georgia, the Falcons’ veterans reported to camp on Tuesday to join the rookies, officially kicking off the team’s first training camp under new head coach Kevin Stefanski. The full squad will take the practice field for the first time on Wednesday morning.
