In March, Afroman won the defamation case over his viral music videos mocking the Ohio cops who raided his home under suspicion of drugs and kidnapping and found nothing. In a lawsuit filed Monday (July 27), the Grammy-nominated rapper/singer claims Sgt. Brian Newland, a former detective with the Adams County Sheriff's Office, defamed him with the lawsuit, as well as invaded his privacy and cost him tens of thousands of dollars in attorney's fees. He also says the officers disconnected his surveillance footage and stole some of his money, though the police claim it was a miscount. His March track "Randy Walters Is A Son Of A Bitch" topped our list of the best songs of the week.
