Forward Seaman's Union of India (FSUI) stated that the safety and security of the seafarers are under extreme danger as there have been continuous strikes in the region around the Black Sea port. This news comes just after the formal protest by India against the death of one of its seafarers due to an attack on a civilian ship in the Black Sea. New Delhi had called upon the ambassador of Ukraine and had shown serious concern about the security of commercial ships in that area because of the ongoing Russia-Ukraine war.
