[]
KMMO – Marshall, MO
A former Carroll County sheriff’s deputy will spend the next 13 years in state prison after pleading guilty earlier this year to charges of domestic assault.
27-year-old Brody C Lewis of Tina learned his sentence Monday, July 27 in an Adair County courtroom, where earlier this year he pleaded guilty to charges of second and third degree domestic assault and unlawful use of a weapon.
Authorities in Macon County began investigating Lewis in May 2025, shortly after he had joined that county’s sheriff’s office.
Lewis has previously served in Carroll County and in the armed forces.
Lewis was sentenced to five years on the second degree domestic assault charge and four years on the other two charges, with the sentences to be served consecutively.
