Flooding in Capital Region: Shelters, states of emergencies, alerts

ALBANY, N.Y. (WNYT)- There has been flooding throughout the Capital Region Wednesday, July 29, after heavy rains hit multiple areas including Albany, Columbia, Greene and Rensselaer Counties.
Related: Get the latest First Warning Weather ForecastThe American Red Cross has opened shelters in Albany and Greene for people affected by flooding to go.
In Albany County, the shelter will open around noon at the Albany School of Humanities, 108 Whitehall Road.
In Greene County, the shelter will also be opening around noon at Greenville High School, 4976 Route 81 in Greenville.
A second shelter in Greene County will be opened at the Hunter-Tannersville Elementary School, 7794 Main Street in Hunter.
