ALBANY, N.Y. (WNYT) — An Albany man was convicted after prosecutors said he attacked Taco Bell workers during a late-night food order theft attempt. Investigators said Morton and Aryonna Rivera, 21, went into Taco Bell at 56 Wolf Road in Colonie on Nov. 9, 2025, at 11:32 p.m. and started collecting mobile food orders while pretending to be DoorDash workers. When employees asked them to prove the orders were theirs, prosecutors said the two attacked the employees. A male employee tried to step in, and prosecutors said Morton beat him and stabbed him in the head.
