ALBANY, N.Y. (WNYT) — Albany water officials said flooding at the Woodville Avenue Pump Station is disrupting part of the city’s wastewater system in south-central Albany.
The Albany Water Department said the flooding is affecting a critical part of the wastewater system serving portions of south-central Albany.
Crews cannot safely reach the pump station until the water goes down.
The department asked people in the affected service area to limit water use as much as possible.
Once floodwaters recede, department personnel will deploy equipment to restore temporary service and begin restoring full-service capability, according to the department.
