Alex Otti, the governor of Abia state, has approved payment for the first phase of medical expenses for ace Nollywood actress Ngozi Nwosu, who recently appealed to the public for financial assistance over an undisclosed health condition. The 62-year-old actress, who is originally from Abia, had revealed she requires three surgeries and needs N30 million to cover the total cost of the procedures. J Martins, the governor’s senior special assistant on tourism and entertainment, took to his X page on Tuesday to announce Otti’s intervention. Martins thanked Otti for the timely intervention while still appealing to Nigerians for continued support.
