Darwen Road and Blackburn Road were listed as hotspot sites, where the MP said she saw people 'rushing down' near the Bolton boundary.
The incident happened near Ciao Baby and was one of several repeat speeding offences recorded by temporary cameras in the area.
"Since then he's managed to get funding from the Council and local councillors to fund some temporary speed cameras and we went through the data.
"Some cars were spotted speeding more than a dozen times in a month in the same spot, and one person was spotted doing 84 miles an hour past Ciao Baby.
Temporary speed cameras were introduced following repeated concerns about speeding on roads including Darwen Road and Blackburn Road and have been supported by funding from the council and local councillors.
