Officers were alerted just before 5pm that a child could be located at Queens Park. One van and three police cars were parked at the Mayor St/Park Rd entrance of Queens Park. The investigation was underway yesterday, on Tuesday, July 29. The Bolton News understands the child was found by members of the community who noticed she was alone. After The Bolton News contacted police for a comment to find out more on the incident, they confirmed the incident and said the girl was returned to her family.
