The Oregon Department of Transportation will hold an open house Aug. 4, 2026, in Hermiston to outline plans to improve the safety of Highway 395 and Punkin Center Road.
(Oregon Department of Transportation/Contributed Photo)HERMISTON — The Oregon Department of Transportation announced it will hold an open house Tuesday, Aug. 4, in Hermiston detailing plans for safety improvements at the intersection of Highway 395 and Punkin Center Road.
The open house is 5:30-7 p.m. at Hermiston City Hall, 180 NE Second St.
The open house will begin with a short presentation.
Afterward, attendees can visit breakout stations to talk with project staff about key components of the U.S. 395-Punkin Center Safety Improvements Project, including design, right of way, construction and other elements.
