Starfighters Space announced the next phase of its “Wind Tunnel in the Sky” program, unveiling a reusable airborne testing platform. This new system lets companies and government agencies test aerospace technologies during sustained Mach 2+ flights. The announcement comes at a time when demand for hypersonic systems and advanced flight testing is rising, but access to traditional testing facilities is still limited. The platform is expected to help with both hypersonic development and microgravity research by exposing equipment to high-speed flight and low-gravity conditions in a single mission.
