New figures from China show that the overall smartphone market has declined, yet sales for foreign models like the iPhone have soared.
Ahead of the next Apple earnings call on July 30, 2026, there is a report that iPhone sales have again gone up in the crucial Chinese market.
According to Reuters, the China Academy of Information and Communications Technology (CAICT) has released certain figures for June smartphone sales.
But it's also one that has for years seen a steady decline in iPhone sales, so Apple turning that around is significant.
Separately, figures for overall Apple sales in China reportedly rose 38% year over year, which is a marked turnaround after years of continuous decline.
