A sequel to Wuchang: Fallen Feathers is now officially in development despite the erasure of Leenzee, the first game's developer. Reports earlier this year suggested much of the original team was disbanded and laid off after it refused to switch to other outsourced projects and support work. Director and producer Xia Siyuan was said to be fired from the company. Since then, publisher 505 Games has acquired the Wuchang IP rights and, as of today, has officially revealed an all-new studio set up to make the sequel. Indolphinity will lead the "creative development" of the follow-up while 505 Games funds and publishes it.
