Detroit Police handed out 53 violations and seized nine cars after stopping an illegal street racing meet near where I-75 and I-94 cross paths on Sunday night. The raid targeted those taking part in illegal drifting and drag races. The raid was part of stepped-up efforts to stop illegal parties and racing meets. One driver took off when cops arrived, but officers know which car it was and are searching for that person.
