A Mississippi high school student accused of strangling a classmate to death has been released from prison.
WDAM News in Hattiesburg reports that Anthony Jackson, 16, was released on a $1 million bond on Monday.
Jackson has been charged with first-degree murder in the death of Yahir Valiente-Alba, 16.
Jackson and Valiente-Alba were both classmates at South Jones High School.
Jackson is accused of strangling Valiente-Alba to death on May 18 in a pond near the Texaco gas station in Ellisville.
