Shane McRae is the latest addition to the upcoming AMC drama series “Thunder Road,” Variety has learned exclusively. It was greenlit at AMC in April with plans to launch it in 2027 on AMC and AMC+. Quaid will play racing legend Duane Whitlock, while McRae will appear in the series regular role of Scooter Jakes. Cliff Roberts of Syndicate Entertainment executive produces along with Mark L.
