It is ‘Back-to-School’ season, and the Women of Prayer and Power invite the entire community to their ‘Back-to-School’ Bash on Saturday, August 1. The event is from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. in Downtown Moundville, next to Big Mike’s Steakhouse. Committed to uplifting individuals and strengthening communities, Women of Prayer and Power is a nonprofit organization founded by Jessica Vanhorn. Through prayer, outreach, community service, youth programs, educational initiatives, and acts of encouragement, the organization is dedicated to bringing hope and support to individuals and families.
