Microsoft is improving the switch to New Outlook for Windows by automatically transferring automapped calendars from Outlook Classic.
The change comes ahead of the planned New Outlook rollout in March 2027.
At present, automapped calendars may not appear after users switch from Outlook Classic.
Outlook Classic will continue to respect the “Turn on shared calendar improvements” setting.
