On tonights episode of The Torch & Twang DJ Sparrow once again had to go on alone, though DJ DC was able to catch up on the trail soon enough. They started things off with some mellower tunes from Johnny Cash to Tom Waits. Soon after DJ DC was able to catch up with DJ Sparrow and they had a nice long and overly off-topic talk of live music that devolved into talking about the Movie Yesterday, due to them playing some George Harrison. After that DJ Sparrow took us down the trail to the past with some Carter family and contemporaries and after to the present day of outlaw country with Colter Wall and Joshua Quimby before finishing off the night with A Case of You By Joni Mitchell. For now DJ Sparrow must ride alone but they’ll catch y’all ’round the fire next week for some more fun tunes and stories.
