A new Capcom star (Capcom)The chances of a sequel to Pragmata are high according to Capcom, as Resident Evil Requiem surpasses another sales milestone. Between Resident Evil Requiem, Pragmata, and Onimusha: Way Of The Sword, Capcom looks set for a stellar year in 2026. As noted in Capcom’s latest earnings report, Resident Evil Requiem has surpassed eight million copies sold since it launched in February this year. Capcom USA’s chief operating officer, Rob Dyer, previously described Pragmata as a new IP for Capcom, implying a sequel is on the way. In its earnings report, Capcom specifically cites Pragmata and the success of ‘catalogue titles’ for driving up revenue and profits year-on-year.
