SWAT: In a significant security operation in Swat’s Matta area, security forces managed to kill four terrorists, while an Elite Force constable sacrificed his life, security officials confirmed. During the operation, forces regained control of a key position in the Rashid Sar sector of Matta. Security officials reported that the terrorists had taken refuge inside a house and were using residents as human shields. In the firefight, Elite Force constable Gulfam Khan was martyred while bravely confronting the militants. When the Taliban administration failed to meet these expectations, Pakistan launched Operation Ghazab lil-Haq in February this year to counter cross-border militant incursions originating from Afghanistan.
