The Glen Cove City Council approved a resolution that would permit the Glen Cove Police Department to have access to city school district property and facilities for training purposes during its meeting on Tuesday, July 28.
“The training is conducted in conjunction with the Glen Cove School District to train and familiarize members of our Glen Cove Police Department with our buildings.”
The council also approved a resolution allowing 10-minute parking for food delivery vehicles on Glen Street.
The council also approved spending $14,193 to cover the additional sidewalk needed at Leuce Place.
The next city council meeting will be held on Aug. 25 at 7:30 p.m. at City Hall.
