Morocco’s Lower House Speaker Rachid Talbi Alami represented King Mohammed VI on Tuesday at the inauguration of Peru’s new president, Keiko Fujimori, in Lima, according to Morocco’s Press Agency (MAP). Fujimori was sworn in as president during a ceremony at the Peruvian Congress attended by heads of state, foreign delegations, representatives of international organizations, diplomats, and other officials. On behalf of King Mohammed VI, Talbi Alami conveyed the monarch’s congratulations and best wishes for success in her new role, expressing hope that she would lead the Peruvian people toward greater progress and prosperity. Talbi Alami was accompanied by Morocco’s ambassador to Peru, Amin Chaoudri.
