Compared to the other issues Astoria faces — homelessness, affordability, road conditions and more — admittedly, dog poop isn’t the most pressing problem. Dog ownership has increased, and with it, the number of individuals who don’t pick up after their fur balls. So, poop piles up. The dog poop is perpetuated by a handful of repeat offenders. Let’s reduce our poop piles.
