— State police say a woman driving a stolen van hit and killed a town marshal Wednesday morning. A Randolph County deputy spotted the van around 8:30 a.m. Atkinson drove into the town of Lynn. Investigators say she struck Town Marshal Brad Fisher as he tried deploying a tire deflation device. Troopers say Atkinson lost control moments later and crashed into a dump truck.
