LEXINGTON — The Kentucky State Police honored 84 troopers, detectives and officers who went above and beyond the call of service in 2025. Recipients from the Post 12 area include:• Detective Tyler Hunter was named the 2025 Post 12 Detective of the Year. • Trooper Jordan Thompson was named the 2025 Post 12 Trooper of the Year. Trooper Phelps is a 15-year veteran of the agency• Lieutenant Eric Moore received a Meritorious Service Award. Detective Thompson is a 19-year veteran of the agency• Trooper Aron Jones received a Meritorious Service Award.
