Troops Arrest Six, Dismantle Suspected Illegal Bunkering Site In Lagos

Troops of the 65 Battalion, Nigerian Army, have arrested six suspects and dismantled a suspected illegal bunkering site in the Orile area of Lagos State.
The operation also led to the recovery of four trucks, a pumping machine, and assorted pipes and drums allegedly used for illegal bunkering activities.
In a statement, the Army said, “Acting on credible intelligence the troops raided the site and arrested six suspected oil bunkerers.

The suspects and all recovered exhibits have been handed over to the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Lagos State Command, for further investigation and possible prosecution.
