The daughter of the late Apostle Emeritus Professor Ing. Kwadwo Safo, former Member of Parliament for Dome-Kwabenya, Sarah Adwoa Safo, has urged members of the Kristo Asafo Church and the general public to disregard claims by her brother, Israel Kwadwo Safo, popularly known as Akofena, that the funeral of their late father has been cancelled. She disclosed that from the time of Apostle Kwadwo Safo’s passing, through to the planning of the 40-day observance, Israel Kwadwo Safo neither participated in the planning process nor contributed financially or logistically to any of the arrangements. An emotional Adwoa Safo said she remains committed to ensuring that her father is given a burial befitting his remarkable legacy as a spiritual leader, inventor, industrialist, technologist and philanthropist. Madam Adwoa Safo, therefore, assured members of the Kristo Asafo Church, admirers of Apostle Kwadwo Safo and the general public that the funeral will proceed as scheduled.
