Gordon Truong, 40, was escorted from his four bedroom property by police officers after around 20 residents protested following his conviction for downloading more than 7,000 images. Truong was forced to wear dark glasses and a surgical mask as he attempted to hide his identity as the protestors shouted insults at him outside the £400,000 house in Bonnyrigg, Midlothian. The shamed NHS radiographer was arrested by police while he worked a shift at Edinburgh Royal Infirmary in February last year. Prosecutor Corey Laouadi said: “Following further investigations by the police it was established Mr Truong was employed by NHS Scotland at Edinburgh Royal Infirmary. Following his arrest Truong was suspended from his position within the NHS and he later resigned.
