SCOTLAND’S Commonwealth Games 3×3 Basketball teams are set for three medal games tonight, with their men’s, wheelchair men’s, and wheelchair women’s teams all in the latter stages of the competition. Scotland’s men’s team, who fancied their chances for a medal before the games, were sent to the semi-finals after a “shot from heaven” secured victory over Malaysia in the play-in game. The Wheelchair men’s team tasted a similar defeat to the Australian team in their category, and will face Canada in a face off for the bronze medal. The wheelchair women’s Auld Enemy grudge match will take place at 7pm tonight.
