New Boca Skate Park Goes Before City Council for Permitting

Already approved and planned for Boca’s new public North Park, plans for a 42,000-square-foot skatepark went before city council at their Monday workshop meeting.
The district owns the North Park property and works with the city to proceed with plans.
Speakers including children, teens and adults lined up at city council’s workshop Monday to support the new skate park plans.
“The skatepark will not fit at DeHoernle Park,” Harms told the Tribune about the proposed other skate park location.
“We are currently working on an interlocal agreement with the City to build athletic fields on the remainder of North Park.
