Unfortunately for the DCU, Batman is a rather complicated issue due to the existence of Matt Reeves’ ongoing Batman Epic Crime Saga starring Robert Pattinson as the Dark Knight. Because the film is still so far off, it’s plausible that casting the DCU’s Batman isn’t a top priority for the time being. Considering the state of Batman on film, it’ll likely be at least a couple of years before we learn who will be the DCU’s Batman. In the meantime, there will surely continue to be more DCU Batman rumors to keep audiences on their toes.
