CONGRATULATIONS to Adam Thompson who competed in this year’s National Open Water Championships which were held at the Rotherham Valley Country Park. Adam, who trains with Thurrock Swimming Club at Blackshots Leisure Centre with partners Impulse Leisure, attended his first national event. Adam, who is 14, swam a tough 5km around the lake and finished 29th out of 38 competitors.
