At a preliminary hearing yesterday, 22-year-old William Leach of Bentleyville had charges including felony statutory sexual assault, indecent assault of a person less than 16 years of age, unlawful contact with a minor, and interference with custody of children held for trial. Leach allegedly went into a 15-year-old girl’s home after her parents left for work earlier this month. Leach then allegedly began committing sexual acts to the teen. During an interview with police, the teen confirmed the sexual assault and also said Leach threatened to “kill her and her entire family” if she told anyone about the assault.
