Today, we’re evaluating the Texas Rangers. And yet, there’s a strong case to make that Texas should act aggressively because this era of Rangers baseball is drawing to a close. A switch-hitter with plus raw power, he’s hit 10 homers in 44 games since a midseason promotion, with a barely a dip in his ability to make contact. If his slider continues to play like a plus pitch (I’m a little skeptical), Texas will really have something here.
