The Amplifying Survivor Voices project, supported by a £120,000 grant from the government’s Social Housing Innovation Fund, will establish a dedicated 12-member survivor advisory panel. It will offer those signing up a safe and supportive way to share their experiences and influence improvements to services. The council has appointed Solace Women’s Aid, one of London's leading charities supporting women and children affected by domestic abuse, to help deliver the project. Solace will work with the council to assess risk, guide participants and help create a supportive environment for survivors to share their views. Council tenants and leaseholders affected by domestic abuse or violence against women and girls can register their interest by emailing survivorvoices@hillingdon.gov.ukwww.hillingdon.gov.uk/amplifying-survivor-voices.
