The Mercedes tipper truck was stopped on the M5 at Frankley Services after villagers followed it north from a controversial new site near Drakes Broughton. A police spokesperson said: "We were called to reports of a Mercedes-Benz tipper truck without tax or insurance on the M5 yesterday (Sunday) just before 3pm. It is understood villagers followed the lorry from a new site at the corner of the A44 Evesham Road and Stonebow Road near Drakes Broughton. We have previously reported how, over the weekend, vehicles including the tipper truck, caravans and a mobile home have been pictured on the site.
