‘Much-loved’ carer retires after 47 years of dedication

Lynette Bourne, one of the longest-serving staff members at Elizabeth Finn Homes, began her career at Rashwood Care Home in Droitwich on March 5, 1979.
In 1950 he passed the 25-roomed residence on to The Distressed Gentlefolk’s Aid Association, set up by Elizabeth Finn.
Rachel Wilson, general manager, said: "We cannot thank Lynette enough for her 47 years of dedication and care.
Rashwood Care Home, part of the Elizabeth Finn Homes care group, is a country house set in six acres of grounds close to the centre of Droitwich.
The home offers 53 rooms for older people on a permanent or respite basis, as well as offering nursing care.
